Why We Built a Relationship-First Real Estate Brokerage
At the close of every year, I find myself thinking about the people who make this work possible — and about why we built this kind of real estate brokerage in the first place.
Building Primavera Realty from the ground up was not easy. It keeps growing for one reason: the people around us. Clients, friends, neighbors, and everyone who keeps us in mind when real estate comes up. That trust is the whole business.
What “relationship-first” actually means
A lot of real estate is transactional by design — high volume, fast turnover, names that blur together. We chose the opposite. As a small, mother-daughter brokerage, we’d rather know your story, your timeline, and what “home” means to you than rush you toward a closing. Vera still reads every newsletter before it goes out. We treat every deal like it’s our own, because in a shop this size, it basically is.
Why referrals are the heart of it
A referral is the strongest thank-you a client can give. It says you felt genuinely taken care of, and it’s what keeps a small brokerage moving forward without a giant ad budget. That model only works if the work is good — which keeps us honest, attentive, and invested in outcomes long after the keys change hands.
The takeaway
Whether you’re buying your first home, selling one you’ve loved for decades, or just trying to understand the Bay Area market, you deserve an agent who treats it personally. That’s the whole idea behind Primavera Realty — and the reason we’re grateful to everyone who’s trusted us with one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
